Grappling requires skill, leverage, and toughness to submit an opponent. Getting up close and personal, Grappling arts include take downs, chokes and joint locks. Less glamorous than other combat arts, Grappling is gaining in popularity due to success in the UFC and other Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) events. Common grappling styles include BJJ, Judo and Wrestling.
